15th January, 5th & 26th February , optional 5, 10 or 15K

I'm doing 15K at each as part of my Marathon training

    Nope! If you can run 5K, you can do the event. The nice thing is that people doing 15K WILL take longer than you (OK, some super speedy guy might get round faster than the slowest 5K runner - but us mortals wont) , so you wont feel like you're at the back!

    I think I might do the two 5s and then try the 10 for the third, if that's a possibility. I think I'll be close to ready for my 10k by the last date.

    That link only goes to the 2010 one, and I can't find a reference online to a more up to date site, though.

    You can definitely do different distances at the events - lots of people do exactly that - or try and better their own times/positions.

    Thanks for the info - I'll need to have a chat to the SO, but I think this would be a pretty good way for me to get used to running in races.

    Edited to add: Just realised we have guests on the 15th Jan, but I'm definitely going to do the other two.
