Need a Little Push From My Friends

Hey Gang - I had a really hungry day yesterday. I didn't do terrible, but ended up going 197 calories over my daily goal. I wasn't able to do my workout this morning so I need to do it tonight. I'm just leaving work and I'm tired and I can hear that voice in my head trying to talk myself out of it. So, I'm posting for accountability - I need to do that workout.

    You can do it!! AND you'll feel better after you do - right?? I'm pullin for ya!! I tell you, after I exercise, I feel SO much better and have more energy - just gotta push myself a little...

  • Thanks KJ - just what I needed to see. I just got home - I'm gonna go change and head downstairs to the elliptical. I'll post in about 40 min.

    Hope the exercise goes well. We're looking for an ellipitical machine. What are the things to look for in an ellipitical. Enjoy your work-out!:smile:

    As far as the elliptical, mine is a ProForm that I bought about a year ago. I like it because the back folds up, it has a fan built in, and it has built-in workouts and a slot for an iFit card which has Jillian Michaels workouts and tracks my progress.

    I felt the same way when I went to my workout, just absolutely drained (was hurting from workout yesterday and didnt sleep well). When I got into my routine,however, my aches went away and I got energized! By the time I was done I felt so much better. Hope that happens with you as well, but if not, give yourself a pat on the back for being determined.
  • Thanks for the encouragement. Funny, my workout this morning actually felt a little easier - I even up-ed it one level (only from 3 to 4, but still progress). I appreciate you sharing. Good to know I just need to stick with it.
