HI guys,

I'm totally new to the Dukan diet and today was my first day. I love the diet it is easy and I don't mind having limited foods in 5 - 10 days.

I have alot of questions regarding the diet and the allowed snack since I have have sweet teeth and love desserts. Can I have low carb desserts like cheese cake ? What about sugar free protein shakes and smoothie? How many snacks can I have per day?

How much did you lose so far with the diet and how committed are you??? How tall and what is your weight?

Please lets motivate each other since we all seaking the same thing, losing weight, being healthy and happiness.

All friends add is very welcome..

P.S:

Height : 5' 7"

Starting weight 2010: 228.5

Weight as of today 179.6

Goal weight 150

i did slip in a few minor cheats while on the attack phase but if you want good results I wouldn't recommend it. I would just refer to the list of foods that you can eat and it it is not on the list just know if you eat it, it can effect your results. You don't have that much to lose so stick to the program and in a few months you should be able to add back in moderation those things that you like. Just remember your choices will effect your outcome... so do you really want cheesecake right now? Good luck

I agree...I think you should stick to the list of allowed food. Especially since the attack is where you will loose the most in the least time, so why would you not want to take advantage of that. I think you can have fat-free Jello- if you want something sweet, there's also the Dukan pancake, and you can have fat free yogurt, but be careful with these check the sugar as well. I use chobani greek yogurt- try the vanilla. A lot of people don't like the plain. Took me a while to get used to it, but it's GREAT for recipe. I am currently on the cruise phase (day 2). I lost 10 lbs on the attack phase, but I did not cheat or deviate from the list. I have been blogging my journey on the Dukan Diet. If you're interested, you can check it out. I recently posted a recipe for Dukan Muffins- you can add unsweetened cacao powder for chocolate brownies, in which case I would recommend increasing the sweetener. I'm not so into sweets, so I didn't add much to mine. Each muffin has 1 tbs of oatbran, so just make sure you have the other 1/2 tbs. So here's the url to my blog if you're interested...

Do you have the book? I would truly recommend reading the book, or reading his plan online. Good luck to you! These forums are great for support, and great recipe ideas!
