I'm a 5K virgin!! Need location suggestions!!

Hello!!

I am wanting to run my first 5K in the next few months and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on where I should go. I live in Eastern Tennessee and would like to run somewhere no more than 3 hours from here. I have been contemplating about finding a race in Atlanta or Asheville, NC because I really like those places so if anyone has any ideas regarding those two cities in particular, it would be much appreciated!!
