I strongly suggest that if you are just starting out to take before pictures. ya i understand no one wants the humiliation of standing in front of a camera with a bathing suit or whatever else scantly clad outfit you have, but its so worth it. you dont have to post the pictures or even share them with anyone. just keep them for yourself to show how far you have come and where you dont want to go back to!

I agree. Sometimes we might not see a difference but looking at pictures can show such a difference! I think in the turbo fire program info it says to take pics every month.0

Is anyone still doing TF? I'm on my 6th week but the scale tells me I've gained weight although I went down from a size 9 to size 7. Also, not sure how much i'm suppose to eat. I still don't have that down. Can someone please explain to me how this fitness pal works. This is what I understand and what I don't understand...can someone be so kind to explain it to me please... I'm a little slow in learning.
Goal: 1200 cal.
Food: Is the food I consume right.
Exercise: Calories burned.
Net:?
Remaining:?
I would really appreciate the help.

Hi Sandy! I am doing the program and I am almost done with week 4! I have lost 3-4 pounds and I do my measurements this weekend, but I have been eating roughly 1200 calories and also at least half of my exercise calories back. I honestly have not found what works for me because a couple of weeks ago I found myself STARVING and eating more.
The good news is that you went down in sizes/inches so I guess I would not be so worried about the scale at least you are still progressing.
As far as reading MFP, I believe that yes, Food: is the food you eat, Exercise is the calories burned. The Daily Goal is your 1200 calories + your exercise calories and what is remaining is what you have left over from what you did not eat. I am not sure if that makes sense or not

Apparently, I can't quote properly What do I know about MFP0

LOL... no worries. Thank you for taking the time to explain things for me. I'm gonna do a little bit more of cardio in the morning on an empty stomach and add strength training 5 days a week too. Since I started TB I gained 5 lbs. I was 139 but felt very fragile and my body had loose flab everywhere. Now my husband is the one telling me he can see a huge difference and that he's proud of me. .. Don't get discouraged keep on doing TB regardless if you see a change on the scale or not. You will see a difference in the way your clothes fit.
We can be Workout Buddies to encourage each other on our TB journey.
Just keep on going and don't give up.0
