Week 2 Challenges

Wow, Week 1 is over and everyone did such a great job! Here are Week 2 challenges and I know for most of us, week 1 was brutal enough. This week will focus on a lot of lower body exercises and I know how much everyone loves leg workouts :). Give it your best and as always, email me or comment when you are done with each challenge.

Weekly Challenge: 750 Jumping Jacks (They are back with popular demand!) ;)

Thanks again everyone for kicking so much butt in week 1. New team formations will be posted once I receive final confirmations from people I have emailed today. I will also post what team won week 1 challenges.

    JJ's are really fun. I figure I put it up a notch. I say if I do 125 a day I will be done on time by Saturday. I do sets of 25 between some of my regular work outs to keep it going hard :)

    I don't mind the jumping jacks. I prefer those to burpees. I was even getting my 7 yr old to do them with me.

    I used to hate jumping jacks, but I quite like them now. Burpees however... Damn you Jose! :laugh:

    Burpees done!! Silly me left them until the end of the day and then had to do them all at once :sad: I SURVIVED!! (just :tongue: ) also added in 150 jumping jacks because I dont want to be doing those all on the last day :laugh:

    Just to let ya'll know - I switched my username from Hoxie25 to 2012Kristin. Thanks!! This weekend is going to be much better than last for me - finally my doctor says I can get some real exercise in!!!

    Sorry for the confusion with the team changes. We lost a total of 5 people and had to do a re-org of the current teams. I hope everyone is okay with that? If not, I can revert back to original teams and just do percentage base of the points available?

    BTW, I think I hate myself now for those burpees :explode: I'm just glad they are over already. I'm beat

    Yeah, luckily the burpees are already done for the week. The other exercises should be pretty exciting to do.

    Walking lunges done and 250 jumping jacks. I'm not saving those suckers to the last day again!

    I definitely can't do the burpees with a broken pinky toe, but Jose sent me some modified ones I will do tonight! Not too sure about those froggy jumps either...we'll see how the toe is doin by the end of the week! haha

    P.S. ...Jumping Jacks were popular demand?!? :noway: LoL for extra motivation this song had a good rhythm/timing for me to do my jumping jacks to:

    oh you know me, just trying to push everyone to hate me this week :) I thought they looked pretty good. I haven't tried it yet though :laugh:

    That's why after I posted the weekly challenges I locked the forum so people couldn't post. Makes one less place for them to post about completed challenges.

    How about NO burpees or frog jumps! LOL And I'd like to request that we don't have to do any weekly or daily "miles." I had that in my last challenge, and wasn't able to complete this and I sorta dropped out. I'd like to actually finish this challenge.

    Maybe some chest flies? or other stuff with weights? I like weight training, but I don't like anything where jumping is involed because it bothers my knees. Jillian Michaels does a chair squat on her 30 day shred DVD. Those aren't bad. You have to bend your knees as if you were to sit in a chair and then raise your arms up in a V.

    Almost there, not looking forward to those frog jumps - oh well I will just treat it like a bandaid, do it quick and get it over with :happy:

    Oh and sorry if I don't comment on your wall posts, I am in Australia so usually sleeping when you all are posting and don't always see them!!
