I managed to "shred" 6 times this week, although I have been slacking off a bit with going to the gym. But at least I am getting some exercise every day, which is WAY better that most of the previous 40 years!

I am thinking I may need to hire a professional measurer. I am not at all sure I am getting my measurements accurate at all. I can measure the same spot three times and get three completely different numbers! Lol. Oh well, I guess I will just wing it for now. Maybe I'll get better with practice...

I will be late joining you...a co-worker was supposed to burn a copy for me, but I forgot to bring her a blank DVD. Then Christmas break hit, and she went to Florida. She's back in the office tomorrow, so I will def. be bringing her my blank DVD!!!!

I did not lose anything, I in fact gained like 2 pounds halfway thru the week but that is gone now, but I did lose inches.

Hi all, Well I didn't join you on the Shred because I don't have a copy yet - but I am going to try and start Ripped in 30 tonight.

For the exercise, what are you counting it as??

I have been using circuit training-general. I don't have an HRM, so I have no idea how accurate that is though.

Thanks, I guess I'll have to do that, too! I don't have a monitor either :)

Well as expected - no changes this week - only got in 3 workouts to Jillian because I went up north but I am considering no weight gain as a win ( I wasn't controlling the cooking for the 4 days I was up north the MIL was....)

I got the DVD too late so will be joining you in earnest this week. Hoping for better results with that! I had decided that since I couldn't do the shred yet, I'd do Leslie Sansome's 4 fast miles each day to get me into a daily exercise routine. Well I'm in a routine (so that's good) but I GAINED a little. Only 0.2 lb so nothing much, but really ... a gain?! Hoping if I do this shred at least every other day (and walking on the in-betweens) I will start to see some fruit for my labour!

Fabulous to see that it has been working for some of you. Well done to you all! Looking forward to the rest of this challenge!

I'm pretty pissed because I sprained my ankle and I have only done the shred 2 times so far :( I don't want to measure myself because I'm sure it hasn't changed much. But it is feeling better now so I want to maybe start doing it again tomorrow and just do as much as I can without re-injuring myself. I want to do it every day instead of every other day in order to make up for lost time.

I had been doing it every day, and then Monday my knee started bothering me ( not even my bad knee - the other one!). So I took yesterday and today off but I'm hoping to start back up tomorrow. It's still bugging me a little, but I figure I can modify some exercises if necessary. I'm bummed too though, only a week in and i was just starting to build up endurance. Oh well, I guess we just do what we can!
