Hi ladies, we now have our own "New Year-NewYou" group and this discussion board is a great place to share information, stories, pictures or to ask questions, encourage others, etc! If you aren't on board, please lunge mindfully over and hop on!
This is the best accountability tool out there that is free and super high tech. It does the calculating for you and at the end of the day it will show you results and give you feed back. You may use this from a computer or from your phone (or both). It also has a "bar-code scanner" so you can take a photo from your phone of the bar-code and the numbers are placed in for you - How easy is that? One quick note on that - I would recommend checking the nutritional information on the package as I have had to correct the portion size before.
What an awesome day in the park this past Saturday. I hope everyone was able to take a nice recovery day yesterday, maybe get in a nice walk and some stretching. I did some light stretching last night and it felt so good!
Now let's mindfully take on this week!

    Does everyone have a "munchie" time, or is it just me? I find when I come home from work, I act as though I'm a bear, fattening up for my winter hybernation! I'm going to start trying to begin with a cup of hot tea to see if that satisfies me a bit. I'm also trying to make a nice appealing list of healthy snacks to inhale (okay....maybe I shouldn't inhale them). What are your favorite healthy snacks when you get into munch mode? I know what I SHOULD eat, but that isn't always what leaps into my hands first?!?!

    Favorite, quick go to snacks - Mixed nuts, beef jerkey, cheese sticks, Whole wheat crackers, milk.
