My calendar was overflowing this week! One of my challenges to myself was that I would schedule my exercise like every other activity in my day. Well I discover this week that there are really only 24hours in a day and cramming it full just wasnt working for me. As i look at my schedule for the rest of the month I am seeing that it gets more hectic as the days go. I think im going to implement some of the principles for my freezer cooking days into my meal plans on the go so that I can eat healthier and stay away from the nearest takeout/vending machine. I'm hoping that by having preportioned meals and snacks on hand I can also save time throughout the day hopefully giving me time to break my exercise down into small chunks throughout the day instead of trying to cram a marathon session into a chunk of time that its just not going to fit into. Every little bit helps, right?

Every little bit does help!! You can do this!!
I used to get discouraged because I didnt have the time for a "full" work out - then I realized 15 and 15 (or 10, 10, and 10) still makes 30. So no matter how small I break down my working out into its better than doing none at all. Move side to side while you do chores around the house (laundry, dishes, cooking) do squats or kickbacks while brushing your teeth - get creative!! Take the stairs instead of the elevator (make sure to give yourself some recovery time when you get to your destination!!).
And always carry healthy snacks with you - that way you never feel starved and can resist the tempting vending machines!!
Then remember one day at a time!!0 -
My vent is that for the past two weeks I have gained weight. I exercised every day last week so i'm disappointed...but...in the words of dory...just keep swimming swimming swimming...or slimming! lol0
