Okay I planned to start 30 DS on the 2nd but had surgery and didn't expect the doctor to limit me, so I started day 1 today. Question....I am going to try and do my workout before my girls get up in the morning, so about 5:30. This morning I was very light headed while doing the workout and was wondering for those of you that work out in the morning, do you guys eat something before? If so what? It's hard while I am still trying to watch calories and I know that the after work out meal is extremely important. Other than being light headed I felt great, and totally felt I could push through. Thanks!

    I do not eat before the 30DS because the first day I did that it made me nauseous. But that's me. I know people who absolutely can not work out(any work out) without eating before hand or they'll get faint. So if you are feeling faint do eat!

    Other workouts I've had a clementine before hand and that didn't make me ill. So maybe a piece of fruit before you work out? Nice and light but it could keep you from feeling sick.

    Clementine is exactly what I was thinking. LOL My daughter is obsessed with those things!

    I cut a protein bar into chunks and have one chunk each day before the workout. It comes to about 60 calories and it seems to be enough to keep me from getting lightheaded. I tried a full breakfast beforehand once and got a stitch, so this seems to be the way to go for me.

    i have a small bowl of cereal before as otherwise i feel dizzy!
