I've just started this new plan last week. I have celiac and cannot eat gluten so Ive decided to cut out sugar and corn as well. Trying to eat lots of lean meats and veggies. So far its been great. :-)

Yes I've found on this journey that cutting carbs in the form of grains and sugars and increasing my protein intake has helped me loose weight over the last 5 months. I set my goals to 40 % carbs and 30% fat and protein. I would go lower on the carbs but I would always be over and the figures are to guide me. I'm just under 5' 4" Think yoga is helping me stretch back to my height in younger days. As a choc a holic I cut a chocolate protein bar into eight pieces keep them in the fridge and have a couple of pieces a day to satisfy my cravings hope this info helps

good idea on cutting the protein bars up!! I've looked at those, but most have more carbs than protein. Thanks for the idea :-)
