I'm starting to get calluses from lifting. Do you wear gloves? I'm thinking something lightweight would be good... ????? suggestions?

I never thought of this happening. Do you think it's from gripping the weights to tight?

I consciously try not to grip tight, I don't know if that helps or not. My hairstylist suggested a pair she bought at ****'s made by Nike.

I wear gloves when weightlifting. They are lightweight and I got them from Walmart. I think the brand is gold's gym. I don't remember how much they cost but they were inexpensive and I haven't had any issues with calluses.

I have considered buying some. My lower weights are neoprene and soft to the touch, but my 12 & 15's have rougher handles which iritate my hands. The man in the Lean circuit uses gloves.

I have a pair as well that seem to work really well - can't remember the name brand, I got them for Christmas. They do the job - though my cat seems to think they're evil and attacks whenever I wear them :)

Gloves...get some gloves!! I've been using gloves and I'm so glad. My hands get really sweaty and since most of my weights are metal, they will slip if I don't grip hard enough. I don't want to grip the weights that hard as I don't want my forearms doing the work...so I really love wearing gloves.

I'm going to get some when I get paid. Thanks for the info!
