As I am a newbie to this braces game, apart from the items in my starter pack (wax, toothpaste, mouthwash, toothbrush), what other essential items do i need to make the next 18 months easier?

Hands down a water pick!!!!!!! My husbands breath started smelling odd (not bad or awful) but we got him a water pick and it was all good!!! I use mine twice a day for my braces!0

they range in price greatly, I got a pretty cheap one I ordered it through amazon...the water resevoir is small but I really dont mind!0 -
