What are you doing with the money you save?

What are you doing with the money you save by not buying cigarettes? I was trying to figure out something special to do with it, that would also be a reward, and finally decided to set it aside and use it to buy running and exercise gear  I'm a runner, believe or not, and I have enough basics (clothes, shoes) that I don't 'need' to buy more stuff, but there are things that I 'want', like a Garmin watch, and cute new tech t-shirts, and sweatybands, so I decided I can use the money I'm saving to splurge on things like that, which will also support my even healthier lifestyle

What's everyone else doing?

For me, I've been buying makeup! I already have so much, but it really makes me happy and I just treated myself to a mini spree at Sephora. I've been quit for a little more than 30 days :)

I'm going to buy anew exercise bike. I have a cheapy upright one now, but once I reach 3 months quit I am going to splurge on a better one that I can do at home spin classes on.

My first treat was a new hair style and colour :-)
I felt so fantastic afterwards that I bought new clothes, the old ones were too big anyways.
Next week I'm going to buy me a treadmill and then, in summer, I'll buy the timber for a shed my hubby has to build for the horses I want to adopt :-)
I could kick my *kitten* when I see what I COULD HAVE bought with the money I puffed through the chimney :grumble:

Probably will be putting it towards paying off some bills...I'm just one week in right now so that's the plan, but I will do some little motivational rewards.

Two days ago, I went to a Lord & Taylor outlet at lunchtime and found a designer dress that was originally $120, marked down a few times, then and on a special 90% off clearance rack that I got for $6.25 out the door. That was my first stop-smoking reward and cost less than a pack of cigarettes...what a deal :drinker:

Sadly, I am buying more fast food with the money saved... in my defense... I am pregnant and I think right now my baby appreciates the food more than poison (although with fast food there might not be a difference)

Other than that, the money saved goes in a nice savings account for either baby items, or just a rainy day
