I can reveal my good news from last week...........My Chiropractor has asked me to come aboard their practice part time to start a Paleo Education group.

So far I have come up with a shopping list, recipes, quick start guide..............

Anything else you guys can think of for me to add into a New Client Packet would be nice. I am also making up a brochure with suggested reading materials.

I am also offering my coaching services to you guys.

I am doing the leptin reset, then will continue with the Paleo diet. My question is, how much protein should I get for the day? The reset has me at 50-75 grams for breakfast, but I haven't seen how much for lunch/dinner. Also, how long does it take for the carb cravings to go away? I'm not shaky, but I feel kinda weak (and this is my first day doing it). Does it really take 4-6 weeks to not feel crummy? What can one do if their blood sugar levels feel like they're going to crash?

Just a few questions I wouldn't mind being answered, and would be helpful to those who are considering the diet, so they can know what to expect. Going from 300-500 carbs to 100 or less is quite the adjustment. Learning how to push through the weak spots would be so helpful!

Hey I know a good thing to add...for people like me...I love fruit but hate vegetables...I have been wracking my brain trying to find ways to eat veggies. I even made it a point today to try new vegetables. Maybe add a paper on how to mask veggies...mix them in eggs, in soups/stews...etc.

As a college student living on campus (with a pre-paid meal plan you have to purchase yuck) any info on how to work around that lifestyle would be helpful. When you live in a dorm with no oven/stove and have the microwave and cafeteria to choose from for your main food source, it's hard to stay in line. I started primal about a week before this semester started up and it's hard. All the food on campus basically is full of preservatives and almost everything is bread based and there's a giant lineup of cookies/cakes/pies for dessert. Even the lettuce in the salad bar has preservatives on it and by the end of the week it's gone kind of slimy and rotted looking.

College is the world of pizza and beer, and while it's hard to stay away from the beer side, the pizza is lagniappe - it's easy to stay off once you're primal for a few weeks and don't crave bread. Any sort of tips for your potential clients that are college students would be helpful.
