Binge eating

I've been a binge eater started off with Anorexia at the age of sixtee, I am now 52 and have no control over my eating. I can be good for a day or two and then I go and eat everything in sight for the next two days. It's so frustrating. Lately I don't seep well so I find myself eating at 12,1,2 am. I try and do something else but it just seems like the hungry feeling takes over.
I have'nt been able to exercise due to spinal fusion, prior to that I was doing cardio everyday for 1 hour. Since November I've been inactive and eating a lot, almost can't control myself at times. I have gained a few since I've been home I have atleast 30 lbs. to lose. How do I eat the right amount of calories to lose weight. I know what I should and should'nt be eating. I won't be able to exercise much for a while I will be walking within 2 weeks but that will be slow. Just need help with amount of calories and tips to eat night hunger Thanks
