I have just completed Week 1and starting Week 2 tonight. Important things I have learned:
1. Eat a small snack before hand. A handfull of peanuts, a clementine, an energy bar, whatever. I feel tired and it makes the run harder without it.
2. Breathe. This is essential to living, anyway. Hypothetically, I should be good at it by now.
3. Don't look at Your Watch! Why even torture myself? Sing songs, contemplate mysteries of the universe, but DON'T look at that timer!
4. Buddy Up! It's called Synergy. This is where the sum of the whole is greater that the individual efforts added together.
What have learned about running since starting C25K????

Firstly to not doubt myself, I pondered for weeks even months about trying c25k, I used the English nhs download and struggled to start with shin splints, I am indebted to my running partner MK who gave me the final boost I needed to start. Today I committed to a 10k race :noway:
Self belief is something ive never had, finishing a 10k will prove me wrong ( i hope)0
