Initial weight loss?

I am on day 3 of the leptin reset. I am feeling pretty dang good! I thought I'd go through a carb withdrawal, but it hasn't happened yet. So I'm curious how much you lost when you first switched to Primal/Paleo or did the leptin reset? I started on Monday at 263 and I was 259 today (I'm 5'5.5". It's been so encouraging! I'm also wondering when I can expect my weight progress to slow down. Thanks!

One thing you have to remember..the leptin reset isn't actually about weight loss, though some do lose while undertaking a reset, quite a lot of people actually put on weight (some stay the same) until they have reset and become leptin sensitive, once they have achieved this, then they lose weight.
A lot of the initial weight loss you are experiencing is likely due to the reduction in carbs (water weight)...going forward if you are fortunate to lose weight while doing the reset, it should hopefully be fat.
If doing primal/paleo only, and if have weight to lose after water weight, it appears that people are losing anywhere between 500gms to 2kilos a week (approx 1lb to 4lb per week) depending on their gender and body composition (body fat %).
Generally, weight loss will slow down after the 2nd or 3rd week, but if eating right and exercising you may continue to lose at a higher rate for a little while.0
