I'm partial to Java and it's portability. I like C++'s power but it's easy to step on your toes and make critical mistakes unless you really know what you're doing. When I'm forced to do anything with the .NET platform I prefer C#.
As far as scripting goes, I love Python. It's syntax is so simple and possesses a very handy list of functions, API's and all that goodness.
So what about you all?

I program mainly in C# and when doing web based stuff I use a lot of PHP which is usually tightly tied to MySql.0
