Weigh-Ins?

How do you guys feel about doing a weigh-in at 10 days completed, 20 days completed, and then the final after completing the 30th day? I'm sort of iffy on this idea because I don't want people to get discouraged if the numbers didn't move much after day 10.

I was only planning on measuring again after day 30 and I did take all my measurements before I started.

we can do that, but I suggest to measure too...we may not see the scale but I really think measurments will go down ---at least thats what I'm hoping :)

Sounds like a good idea to me! Those who dont loose much weight can probably say that they have lost inches or pant sizes!

I think that sound just fine! I noticed people tend to lose only a small amount of weight (around 6 pounds or so) but the inches lost seem to be pretty good. I'll weigh-in and check-in inches as well. Day 10 will be next Tuesday, right?
  • Ooh I like this. Sounds great.
I started Sunday, Jan. 15. So my weigh in days will be:

    Day 10: Tues., Jan. 24th
    Day 20: Fri. Feb. 3rd
    Day 30: Mon., Feb. 13

    So excited! :)
    I better measure. Thanks Hotties!

I think measuring is better because sometimes you lose inches and build muscle. Anyway my day 10 is on Sunday and my weigh in day is tomorrow (Saturday), so I can still post my results. :) Good luck to you all!

I think it's a great idea to weigh in and check our measurements.

I was thinking I would wait until the 30 days are done before I weigh and measure, but every 10 days is good too. I haven't noticed a difference in my clothes yet, but I feel like I am toning up. Regardless of what I see on the scale and measurements, I feel stronger, so that is a motivation to me

I weigh and measure myself every 7 days anyway, so it won't be that much work. BTW, after 6 days (I started 1/16) I've lost quite a few inches :)

    Weigh/Measurement Days will be:
    10 Days: Jan. 25
    20 Days: Feb. 4
    30 Days: Feb. 14
  • I'm on day 9 tomorrow, and I don't feel like my body has changed that much.. and no weight loss.. I PUSH myself hard too.. I also jog in the morning with my kids...
Getting frustrated, but I won't give up! I love being healthy!
  • Day 10: 26th

I'm in the same boat as you...Day 9...no weight loss...( i last weighed 2 days ago...i've decided to wait to weigh and measure on Friday) which would be Day 11. I'm sure when we measure we will see results!!! You are doing great...keep at it!
  • Thanks HotHol! Thanks for adding me too ;)
I feel like I'm getting tinnier.. so, that's what counts, right?

I didn't do the shred tonight.. my workout gear was soaked, forgot to dry it.. and I burned 300 calories on a jog today.. and probably another 3-500 around the house today.. packing the kids around, cleaning etc.. it was a busy busy day, and I'm exhausted.
I'll workout again tomorrow morn! day 10.... woohoo!
  • So, I finished level 1 two days ago... and I weighed 4 pounds less than starting.. not sure on the inches..
But I've definitely lost some.... I took photos, and you can definitely tell!
