Just Signed up for a 5k!

It's a local race toward the end of April. I'm still so heavy that it kills my knees and lower back to run, but I'm hopeful that as I continue to exercise and lose the weight that I will be able to at least run a good percentage of it. My incredibly supportive hubby has signed up with me as well as another friend. I think we are actually working on getting a small group together. (It's a memorial run for a good cause on top of being good exercise.)

At any rate, after this one, my next goal is to be able to completely run another annual race that happens here in October. I think those are pretty modest goals considering the amount of time I'm giving myself. At least I hope so!

    That is awesome!

    We start the "C25k" training program tomorrow. We hope you can join us! You will be good and ready for your run on April! (Not to mention a few lbs lighter as well!) Good luck!
