Week 1

I am starting Week 1 of the training this afternoon. Day 1 will be on the treadmill. Looking forward to this workout! Who else is starting the training today? I will check in tonight with how the run went :)

    Tonight I started with the training. It was very enjoyable to my surprise! The 30 min went by so fast that I went over:smile:

    I ran 3 intervals on the treadmill 4.9-5.1-5.3

    it always goes faster than I expected :smile: thank goodness!
  • My little reflection for Day 1
    Week 1 Day 1 5k training
    5 minute warm up at 3mph
    alt 3 min running @5mph and 2min walking@ 3.8
    Finished out 25 minutes with walking @2.0

    Dripping with sweat. Last interval was hard.
  • I did training day 2 on Tuesday. Went great. Was dripping sweat again! Tonight is Spin Class!

    Week 1 day 2. The first day I used the workout written on this message board. The time went so fast and I really enjoyed it. Tonight I started with using the couch2-5k treadmill workout, it was too much switching back and forth for me. So, half way I switched back to the original one.
  • Tonight's spin class was changed to a cardio dance. It was fun, but I missed my spin!
  • Yeah- I think I will like this plan better than Couch to 5k.

    Yes I tried the couch to 5km as well for a few weeks but found using my phone app was such a pain.....I use my timex interval watch which works better
