THE NEW BASIC SLIMMING SOUP
INGREDIENTS
1 3/4 LBS LEAN MEAT ( GROUND BEEF, TURKEY, CHICKEN, OR WHITE FISH)
1TSP OLIVE OIL
1 LARGE ONION PEELED AND CHOPPED
1 LARGE RED, YELLOW, OR GREEN PEPPER SEEDED AND CHOPPED
1 LARGE YELLOW SQUASH CHOPPED
8 OZ MUSHROOMS CHOPPED
2 TSP CHOPPED GARLIC
1 BOTTLE (46 0Z) REDUCED SODIUM TOMATO OR VEGGIE JUICE COCKTAIL
1 CAN (15OZ) PINTO, GARBANZO, OR BLACK BEANS RINSED AND DRAINED
1 TBS FRESH LIME JUICE
1 TBS GROUND CUMIN
1/8 TSP CAYENNE PEPPER OR TO TASTE
1/4 FRESH CILANTRO AND PARSLEY
OPTIONAL INGREDIENTS
TUMERIC: 1 TSP AIDS IN RELIEF OF BLOAT, HEADACHES AND COLDS
DAIKON :1/2 CUP GRATED AIDS IN CARB CRAVINGS AND G.I. DISTRESS
SEAWEED: 2TSP AIDS IN TIRED BLUE AND FOGGY FEELING
SEA SALT: 1/2 TSP AIDS IN RELIEF OF STRESS, SIZZINESS AND SALT CRAVINGS
COOKING
1. In saucepot over medium-high heat , cook meat in olive oil 5 minutes or until cooked through, stirring occasionally. Remove from pot and drain if desired.
2. In same saucepot, cook onions, peppers, squash, mushrooms and garlic 5 minutes or until vegetables are crisp to tender stirring occoasionally.
3. Stir in cocktail juice, beans, tomatoes, lime juice, cumin, cayenne and cooked meat
4. Add up to 1 cup of water to think if deisred
5. cover bring soup just to a simmer do not boil
6. Stirring occasionally add cilatro and parsley cover and let simmer 20 minutes.

My challenge days will be Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.. Heads up ladies and Gents if we have any this soup really taste good and is filling I was surprised when I first made it last week, and came out of it with a 3 pound lost and I replaced Lunch and Snack at work with it. Also if you have allergies you can exclude those from the recipe or replace for instance I added in Red Cabbage because it is a Fat Blocker.0

I know its a bit long winded but you can put in each item and amount of each item and it will add up the calorie intake for u!! so on FOOD start from top the meat amount and then it will tell u each calorie amount and then it will say how many calories you have left. Take the amount u have left away from your calorie intake and then u will get know how much it is. From then on in you can just add the meal as a set item and calorie intake. Hope that makes sense!!0

got all ingredients apart fron cilatro so gonna miss that out,i got chicken to add in with my soup,gonna add the tumeric and sea salt to...purely for there qualitys...look forward to trying it..:drinker:0
