  • Got my first day of week 2 training in last night. Second interval was hardest for me. Day 2 is on the plan for tonight. How are you guys doing???
  • Day 2 kicked my butt. I wanted to stop or slow down do many time...but I kept going. During the last interval I thought I might throw up. My HR was higher than usual (not sure why) and I think that made all the difference. I would like to get in the last run tonight because I have a work event Friday, but I am going to listen to my body...and possibly take the night off. TOM should also arrive today which could have been a factor in last night's bad run.

    How are you guys doing???

Got my second day of week two in . Not been feeling good this week but still pressing on. Hope to get day three in on Saturday and and finish better then I started. If I don't do I redo week two over?:frown:
  • I still have one more day to do too. If my third run isn't better than my second run, I think I will repeat the week. I know I would have no problem if I reduced my speed, but I really want this training to be about improving my speed!

A week 2 "do over" is what I am going to do. Still going to do my day 3 tomorrow but start fresh next week.
  • We will "do over" together :)

Sorry for the late reply girls...I'm starting week two again because I had the worst flu and haven't logged on for a few days.... but back on track now...so we can all start again together

anttrail, always just start over wherever you left off or wherever you feel comfortable because its designed for low injury....so don't quit but don't worry about not being on track

    Starting week 2 tomorrow!
  • I am behind this week and struggling to find motivation to run after losing our sweet dog. I just can't believe that it happened. I don't feel like doing anything but sleeping...and yet I am not sleeping well either. My heart is just broken...as well as my husband's. We just seem to be walking through the motions without must living this week.

I am soooooo sorry to hear this Jessi, I lost a horse last year so I completely understand. I've posted all the weeks so we can all progress at our own pace. Things will get better soon
