I need some advise on carb amounts...

I started my low carb plan three weeks ago. I've been keeping my net carbs around 20 sometimes much less. I'm just wondering how low I need to keep them this low? I would like to add 5 carbs at time.. but ultimately keep them pretty low until I loose most of my weight. Then keep them under a 100 to maintain. I would like to hear what has worked for you.

    Well... if your not under any doctor's care, no prexisting medical issues, its pretty much something you would need to determine on your own.

    Keep in mind though - you do need a certain level of healthy carbohydrates for proper cardiac/brain function....

    What works for me, or the next person may or may not work for you. I recently discovered that if I dont consume at least 65g of carbohydrates, I will pass out and/or black out... so I make sure Im meeting that target every day at the very minimum!

    Im under an Endocrinologist's recommendations and I wont discuss that here because her advice revolves around medical conditions Im battling....


    Have you thought about talking with an RD who specializes in low-carb intakes?
