Hello!
I am very excited to find this group, I have been on MFP for, awhile, but haven't actually been using it to lose weight, and hadn't actually logged on for months before a few weeks ago when I decided out of curiosity to track my fat/protein/carb intake daily to see what I was actually eating.
I am 22, and my name is Kim. I have been Paleo for about 1.5 years now, give or take a month. To date, I have lost 47lbs, but haven't been perfect, otherwise I feel my results would be much more impressive, but I have been back on track since New Years (not a resolution!) and I am determined to drop the last 53lbs or so, depending on muscle gains and etc. I hope to take off at least half of the remaining amount before September, when I am returning to school to become a Personal Fitness Trainer, to spread the awesomeness that Paleo living is.
I religiously strength train, and also want to be a runner, despite the two directly conflicting. I live with my boyfriend of 6 years, who is also Paleo with me, (his idea originally!), he is currently building strength/muscle and putting on mass.
Nice to meet you all! I am so stoked to see such a huge group of Paleo/Primal followers!
I am also wondering if there are any members of this group located in, or around Edmonton, Alberta and are interested in making in-real-life friends. Dinners are a lot more fun when you aren't the "weird eater". I'm sure you know what I mean!
