Hey fellow Ottawans, do any of you run in the winter? I would love to, but I hate running in the cold, ( I know spoiled), and escaping to Mexico so I can run is not "cost effective" ;) Do any of you run inside and where?

I like to run outside when it's milder (-10 or warmer). After the first few minutes, you don't feel the cold, and I find the air much better than stinky, stagnant, mid-summer air. It's exhilerating, even.

However, when it rains, or when it's too cold, I bought myself a treadmill. I didn't go top of the line or anything, because my preference is to work out outside and it's only used when the weather is bad.

I wish I could do more outdoors during the winter, but my lungs are hypersensitive. A few gusts of cold air during exertion and I get bronchitis... so... a-treadmilling I go.
