Frustrated with the scale.

Let me begin by saying that I know that the goal of the leptin reset is not weight loss. I KNOW THIS. I have been weighing myself every day since the beginning of the year. I was really excited when I started losing weight after I began the leptin reset. Every day, it was at least a pound, then it slowed down to half a pound, and now I've been at the same exact weight for 3 days. My scale has a fat percentage checker thingy, and on the 17th (the day after I started), it read 61.9%. I did it again this morning, and it's at 67.1%. I have about 100 pounds to lose, so I figured that simply being on a low carb plan would help me lose weight, especially in addition to strength training and light cardio.
The reason I'm upset is that it makes me wonder if I'm following the plan correctly. I haven't changed anything in regard to my food intake and I've been weight training 3-4 days a week. I've been keeping my carbs under 40 grams a day (most of the time it's way less than that). I am feeling better, for the most part. I am thirstier than hell and have been drinking a lot of water. The only thing I can think of is that maybe I've hit the starvation mode, as a couple of the days last week, I didn't come close my 1400 calorie limit, despite not being hungry. I log my stuff to keep my protein/carb counts in check.
And TMI, these past three days have been included in that time of the month.
Any insight you can offer would be appreciated, since I'm feeling pretty frustrated.

Having shed over 100 lbs, my greatest success comes with upping my fat percentage. Protein can still be turned basically into sugar. There are periods where my body thrives on 85% fat, 15% protein and times when I can eat as little as 65% fat and as much as 30% protein.
Let me know what your fat intake percentage is and btw, your scale is possibly inaccurate. I would be surprised even needing to lose 100 lbs if you were greater than 55% body fat. My opinion is based on having a large community supporting me who have also shed over 100 lbs and both their and my results from hydrostatic weighing ("getting tanked"), which is more accurate. We can talk in greater detail if any of that is helpful.
Hold your path, you'll get your Leptin sensitivity going and will be so amazed at the results! You are worth it!
Once I couldn't fit into anything Lane Bryant sold. Now I'm too small for any of their clothing. Really, you're worth it!!!0 -
I agree, the more fat I eat, the more I seem to burn.
High fat, medium protein, low carb, works well for me.0
