I keep thinking that my city, Austin, TX, which is very health-conscious, will have some Paleo/Primal eateries. Does anyone have one where they live?

There are probably some in Atlanta.... but I doubt there's much in my area.

I'm in Germany and I know there's a Paleo restaurant in Berlin, but I haven't made it up there to try it yet.

Try finding a Mongolian grill restaurant. Just about every city has one.

Only the largest cities might have restaurants that are explicitly Primal or Paleo. If you Google "primal restaurant <city>" (or paleo) you will probably get a listing of Yelp reviews (there were several for 'San Francisco' when I checked).

As mentioned, several types of restaurants lend themselves easily to our eating style, as long as you are willing to accept grain-fed. Mongolian BBQ, Sizzler (steak & salad bar, replace the spud with veg and hold the cheezybread), other steak houses, omelet houses, any place that will serve steak & eggs (most will willingly replace the hashbrowns with tomatoes or a fruit cup).

I second the mongolian BBQ, also El Pollo Loco, grilled chicken, avoid the sides and tortillas is good. Also I've found some mexican restaurants and got a carne asada burrito, just carne and cheese, and then just ate the meat out of the tortilla.

Most of the time I've been cooking in though.

    Good luck!
