Seriously? It's 2012 and January is already almost over? Life passes me by some days all to quickly.

Today I'm feeling rough. I caught whatever cold my mother-in-law has (we live with her) and its kicking my tushy. I'm being good though. I'm not giving in to the temptation to eat junk just because I'm sick.

My sister-in-law left her portable mini elliptical here. I'm having the hubby rig up a set up so I can do it seated because the pressure on my knees is too much. (I have two horrible knees...the right one I had surgery on in 2004 to replace my torn ACL, and I'm pretty sure my left is now giving up the fight after compensating for the right one for all these years)

How is everyone else?

I've had 2- bite brownies staring me in the face all day. Do you know how many calories are in a serving? 180. Do you know how many brownies is in a serving? 2... TWO! 1-inch diameter brownies. I can drink an entire yummy smoothie for that much. I'm going to have to make myself one to rid myself of this sugar craving.

I have NO clue what to have for my dinner. Bless his heart my husband bought noodles and alfredo sauce for him and the kids for dinner. Not what i want/can have. So I'm debating on a smoothie with an egg added right now.

I am having a SERIOUS problem eating my calories for the day. Although I supose this is a good problem to have, it's very frustrating having 900 calories left over. I am eating as much as I can, but choosing healthy options instead of junk. I never thought when I started my journey that lack of calories would be an issue. There is a lot of food there on my diary! I refuse to let my workouts go, or even lessen them. I know once I stop that drive i'll get complacent and stay unhealthy. I was prepared to need to change the kind of food I eat (which I did ) but not for eating myself stupid.

Te...I am sometimes in the same boat...but received some great advice that we MUST feed ourselves or the fire of our energy may just die out...(and sickness or our immune might be compromised). I am going to start a Jillian 30 day Shred DVD starting Wednesday coming up, with Zumba as my Cardio. With all of the exercise that I have been doing, feeding our muscles is crucial. I just completed a 30 day Sugar Free Challenge, and had been eating mostly proteins and fruit and veggies. I am not interested in losing any more weight, but maintaining and building muscle. I am beginning to add back GOOD carbs to meet my calorie guideline...and sometimes I still cannot meet it. Good Luck...hopefully we can discuss our food plan for support :) Best Always...Debbie

I've done the 30 day shred and holy cow! I got through two weeks, and then my husband injured himself at work. He was home ALL THE TIME and there was NO WAY I was doing it infront of him, lol. It is a great workout and hope to restart it after I get my numbers figured out and my routines down.
