Best tips for motivation

How do you stay motivated to stick to your weight loss plan? This includes motivation for exercise, not just eating right! :bigsmile:

My best tip: Say, "No" to any food or snack you know will lead to overshooting your daily goal if it is something easily available - like you can buy it at the grocery store, or it is a staple at a local food joint/restaurant, or something your spouse or friend makes frequently. You can have this type of thing anytime, and can actually plan for it so it doesn't sabotage your efforts. Save your splurge for the unexpected and not easily obtainable, like the special baked good a friend has made that you know is terrific. Then try to be reasonable about the amount. :flowerforyou:

    Great tip! Im saving my splurge for tomorrow...its my birthday and I know my boyfriend and children are planning to make me a cake...but will I be able to stop at just one slice?!!!
