    I've been off dairy for so long that I don't actually like the taste of kefir anymore.. at one time I thought it was pretty good but now it just tastes like (sorry) but like mucus lol, and way too rich. I find it harder to keep weight off if I allow much dairy at all, I try to stick with less than a serving per day which works well for me. I would allow myself a few sips of kefir occasionally if I liked it. I occasionally allow a tablespoon or so of greek yogurt as part of a meal though, so I get a few active cultures from that which is good.
