I got them and I hope your knee feels better soon!I ran only 6 this week....knee is acting up.
If it is, then I am most definitely crazy. But I think you could definitely do a half! You are so consistent with your runs and walks! If you feel like you don't want to run the whole thing, there is a training plan by Jeff Galloway that I heard is pretty great with walking/running intervals. I have a friend that did it and she loved it! She also finished faster that way than just straight running,And maybe trying to attempt a half is crazy...but I am not getting any younger and if I wait to long it definitely won't happen.
Wow. I can actually relate to this. The first time I started running for something other than an organized sport was for this exact reason. The relationship wasn't long, but it hurt me deeply and has had an effect on every relationship I've had since then.I was really, really angry at the end of at long, murky, agonizing relationship with a jerk of a guy. Anger fueled the first 12-18mos.
To defeat the food choices problem, I actually eat more the day before a run and it seems to help my body more than the day of. I struggle with eating ENOUGH when I do long runs because my stomach is upset afterwards.
I always dread mine because I never seem to have enough time and it pretty much kills the whole day cause I don't want to do anything afterwards. As crazy as it sounds, I normally look forward to my Sunday long runs
Definitely agree, but it's true!Your biased!!
You're amazingIt was supposed to be! But then I realized that I was off a week on my training program and had to switch things around.
I started running to lose weight. I lost 40 pounds fairly quickly, and I'm comfortable with where it is now. I continued to run because I love it. I love collecting medals and t-shirts. Now it's just become a habit. I can't see myself NOT running.
My stomach is finicky too. I can't have too many fats, even healthy ones or my stomach gets very upset. The cheese, meat and grease are killing me now0 -

Thanks for keeping this challenge going! I forgot to submit my mileage for the whole week last week - it was 13.51 miles total.
So far, for this week, I'm at 10.9 miles including today
And I run because its something that forces me to push myself, even moreso than a regular aerobics class or elliptical session would do. The weight benefits are nice too though!0 -
