    Chicken wings!!!

    Bake them until crispy. Totally paleo and a super bowl favorite!

    I'm not sure what else.... I need to plan for this though, otherwise I'll be screwed!

    How about sliders without the bun? With bacon and/or cheese, if you eat those, or maybe sauteed onions/mushrooms on top?

    Poppers, stuffed mushrooms, chicken wings, bean-less chilli, wrapped chicken in bacon and grilled, veggie tray and maybe a few pieces of fruit :)

    Well we do't get superbowl in New Zealand - but this is awesome for me cause I have a BBQ to go to on Saturday night (middle of summer here) - and need snacks as there will be tonnes of the usual stuff that I now choose not to eat.

    Love the idea of chicken wings, or nibbles. Also thought I might make guacamole with cucumber and carrot sticks to dip. Avocados are in season and very cheap here at the moment.

    I also find if people are eating salty snacks like potato chips around me it is hard (one of my favourite snacks!) - so I find it useful to buy some pork crackles as my alternative. YUM!

    Can I ask a non-American question??? What the heck are poppers??? :)

    Jalapeno peppers stuffed with cream cheese, breaded and quickly deep fried.

    Super Bowl here on Basselope Hill will be

    - my Gold Rush chili, newly reformulated to be paleo/primal;
    - buffalo wings;
    - crudites (veggie plate for you trogs);
    - olives;
    - chicharrones (pork rinds)
    - cheese plate (using goat/sheep cheeses - no cow)

    Jalapena Poppers...are Jalapena Peppers cut in 1/2 and cleaned of seeds. Many people do them differently....I stuff with
    cream cheese and then wrap in bacon and grill them....I try to stay away from breaded products BUT have had them in the past and they are good. Some people will lather on some BBQ sauce at the end of grilling to both the poppers and the chicken wrapped in bacon...I use a sugar free base since I try to stay SF, GF, etc

    JUST FOUND THIS PALEO BREAD RECIPE THOUGHT SOME WOULD USE IT,

    1 ½ cups blanched almond flour
    2 tablespoons coconut flour
    ¼ cup golden flaxseed meal
    ¼ teaspoon celtic sea salt
    1 ½ teaspoons baking soda
    5 eggs
    ¼ cup coconut oil
    1 tablespoon honey
    1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
    Place almond flour, coconut flour, flax, salt and baking soda in a food processor
    Pulse ingredients together
    Pulse in eggs, oil, honey and vinegar
    Pour batter into a greased 7.5" x 3.5" Magic Line Loaf Pan
    Bake at 350° for 30 minutes
    Cool and serve

    Please note: If you use a loaf pan that's bigger than the size recommended above, your loaf of bread will not "rise," it will be wider and shorter than the loaf in the photo above.
