I am not sure if I am suppose to weight meat raw or cooked? I don't like trying to guess how much to cook before I weight it. When chicken is weighed do you consider the bone or do you just pull the meat.off or just estimate with bone on it? What about pancakes? How large is large? Just need some claification. Thanks my 831 partners. Cathy

    Hi Cathy,

I don't necessarily know what's "correct" but I can tell you what I logically think is correct and how I do it. I weigh my food after its cooked and I weigh the portion I'm going to consume (no bones). Pancakes are a tough one. I typically weigh EVERYTHING (I'm a bit anal). My scale does ounce and grams. Chances are someone on MFP has logged pancakes by grams at some point and you can find that. I don't eat pancakes, so I'm not much help there. Sorry! Good Luck! --Lynn
