Just wanted to say hi to all the fellow paleo/primal people here. I have been on mfp for over a year now, started out on the high carb low fat, but have since been converted. I am a second timer for the primal diet. I went back to carbs after the first time around and gained some weight back and felt like doo doo. I wasnt really losing any weight when i first tried primal, and got discouraged. But I am back cause i feel better when I eat primal and dont have the high and lows of the carb based diets. I plan on sticking it out for good this time. Also I have been back for about 3 weeks and have lost about 14 pounds this time. I cant afford grass fed at the moment but I do what I can to stay as primal as possible. Also I would love to have more primal/paleo friends, so feel free to send me a friend request. Just make sure that you let me know you are paleo/primal.

    Hey there, I'm new to this group too...and to Primal/Paleo eating. I decided to give it a go after cleaning up my diet to treat depression...I read something about it on the internet and it just made sense to me (I've always had a terrible reaction to bread, but its sooo addictive).

    So far I'm finding it pretty good (bacon = yum), but am still getting random non-hunger related bread cravings. So I decided to join this group in an attempt to get better informed, and get some support :)

    Hey there.

    Add me if you like. I just started this diet around 1/5/12, and have lost 28 lbs so far.

    Cheers!

    Hi all! Good to meet you!!

    I just finished the Whole 30 challenge (basically, going hard-core primal/paleo and skipping all of the sweets (including honey and maple syrup), grains, legumes. Feel great, and currently doing the "testing" of various foods to see how I react. Must admit to being a little nervous about "losing" some foods, but am LOVING how I feel now.

    @GrokOn - great results in 3 weeks!
