I bought Ripped in 30 a few days ago, and to get my butt moving I decided to create a challenge for myself and anyone else is welcome to join. I didn't lose anything in January. I have to say, I could have done a lot better but still disappointed. My goal this month is to lose 10-15lbs.
Here's my plan for February:
- At least 5 days a week doing Ripped in 30, in addition to my 5-6 days of cardio at the gym
- Drink a gallon of water a day
- At least 30 grams of fiber from natural foods (not wheat, fiber products, etc)
- Hit my calorie goal daily (1350 calories)
- At least 100 grams protein
- At least 100 grams carbs, but not over
Most of what I mentioned above I do easily every day. I'm having problems with the fiber and the water intake, but I'm working on that! Beans are the magical fruit after all.
Remember this: It only takes 12 weeks to see significant changes to your body, 4 weeks to to stick to a challenge, concentrate on 1 week at a time, and focus daily on your goals for that day.
