My tonsils are swollen :( I feel like crud and haven't had any energy for 2 days now. I'm not sure if its because of the drop in calories or this bug or what.

Eating some left over split pea soup for lunch. I've definitely go all my veggies today.

I finished the day strong. I knocked out the big mess that was my bedroom and managed 15 minutes of moderate work on my mini elliptical turned "stationary bike"

Point total for feb 1: 14

Did my just dance for 70 minues, then went to my friends house and did another 60 on ddr. Dropped my son off for tutoring, ran home to get our library books to return. I bent over to pick up the bag (15 books inside) and on my way up *bong* I pulled some horrible muscle in my back! I feel much better this morning, but it still hurts like heck. My husband actually had to help me stand up straight last night. I bent over to pick up a silly plate! I have a moderate workout scheduled for today and tons of house work to do, none of which I can/am willing to put off. Ugh!

In the other thread is fine :) I just happened to have this one up when I posted mine.

A little better today. My sore throat is up to my ears (happens everytime) but otherwise I'm pretty good. Might try some after I eat to see if it takes some of the pain/swelling down.

Ugh I hate when that happens! Just do your best to take things easy. Better to let it heal than to try and do too much and make it worse!

    Hey All,

I had a pretty good workout yesterday. Went to the track and did speed work with other runners. I was with the slowest group, running with folks almost twice my age, but it was a perfect push for me. I hope I can adjust my schedule so I can run with them weekly.

Got off track logging though. I got busy and things sort of went wonky so I gave up on logging. Will start again today!

    WTG Amber!

As for tracking, we all have those days :) That's why I was so happy to find the app for my phone. It makes it so much easier and I don't feel tied to the house to log my food LOL

Have had my fruits and veggies today :) Drinking my water as best I can with my throat.

The day before weigh in is NOT the day to chow down, but I did none the less. *sigh* Hope it didn't hurt my whole weeks hard work. Might have to put in a crazy workout before I go to bed!

Haha I know right! We'll see in the morning :)

Burned some calories. Borrowed MIL basic HRM watch and I'm just not sure how accurate it is. It had me in the 90s as I'm totally panting and sweating buckets. Whatev!

DH is on his way home and we're going out to eat at Denny's so I preplanned my order and added it to my meals already.

That is great thinking ahead. You've been doing this longer than I have, so tell me... When u go out, do you special order your meals? I was a server for many years, and I remember the cooks rolling their eyes on special orders, and I will admit, some times the question portion of the ordering would get annoying. "how is it cooked? What do u cook it with? What's in the side dish" would get annoying . I know I have a right to know these things, but the idea of creating extra work for ppl in a busy job like that is going to be yet another hard pill to swallow.

Ok, I totally missed this thread all week and didnt post my daily points. I was thinking there was going to be a thread for each day. Oh well.. I'll just get myself up to speed here.

    Feb 2: 6pts
    Feb 3: 6pts
    Feb 4: 5pts

Not doing as great as some, but I'm just as pleased with my progress. Only thing I really need to do is get my water intake up.

Omg omg omg.(the g in my omg forever stands for goodness) 173. Are you kidding me?! Nope, thats the weight in first thing this morning. That's an 11 pound loss since I started mfp 13 days ago. I've learned a lot in my past two weeks and figured out WHY my weight got so out of control. 1: I never gave my body the calories it needed. 2: when I did give it food (which it turned to fat right away) it was horrible food! 3: i do like water, and so does my body! 4: the "i don't have time for a workout" was just an excuse to not do it!
i know that my body is shocked right now, being fed, being hydrated, being worked out, and that my numbers will most likely start getting smaller soon, but i'm going to take these big numbers while I can! I'm so glad I found this group so early on in my journey and I look foward learning more from you ladies as I continue!

Honestly, I check the website for nutritional info ahead of time. Last night, for instance, I had Denny's Fit Fare Omelette Meal. Egg white omelette filled with spinach, tomatoes, onions, peppers, mushrooms, and cheese, two strips of turkey bacon, and a nice seasonal fruit cup (mine was cantaloupe, grapes, and strawberries.) The calories according to the website is 550 for the entire meal. It seemed fair for what I got (it was delish BTW) I only managed 1/2 of the omelette. I ate most of the grapes, none of the strawberries and all of the cantaloupe. And I never turn down bacon. In any form ;)

I do that with any restaurant I do go to. I'm pretty aware of what the calories are at McD's, so if DH happens to drive through and I am hungry I know what will be ok and what will totally break the bank.

Way to go Sherri!! I think you are doing fantastic :) Its hard getting my 8 water in a day. So I cheat and half of my water is flavored (crystal light or the diet ocean spray packets.) I only use one packet (the amount for one 16 oz bottle of water) for my 32 oz water mug. It flavors it just enough to keep me from getting bored.

WTG!!! I'm so happy for you. Your weight loss will taper off, but I find I feel really motivated as long as the scale goes down. Even just a few tenths of a point.

My weight this morning was 221.4 down from 222.6 last Sunday. That's 1.2 lb loss. I'll take it.

Ok I'm adding a mini goal for myself.

I want to try and add least 1 extra cup of water into my day. So I'm shooting for 9 cups of water.
There was something else, but now I can't remember it, so if I do I'll come back and post it.

ETA: I remembered literally right after I posted LOL

I'm going to try and plan for my exercise and eat my calories to the point earlier in the day. I feel the late night snacking is hurting me, because it tends to be crummy fast food. So no food after 10 pm for me.
