I had my lapband surg on 06/13/06 I was over 400lbs, I Have lost a LOT of that weight BUT most importantly what I have is a new lease on life. I went from not being able to roll a ball and play catch with my son, to being in the best shape of my life. I can play with my kids, I train in Kenpo and most importantly feel alive. I joined MFP today to support my wife and found these threads. I am so glad to see I am not alone.
I haven't figured out yet how I will track calories since I still vomit a lot of what I eat. I'm sure not all post ops vomit, but I do.
Should I track all calories even though I only keep half down???
Any help would be appreciated.

You have accomplished lot. I have only been banded since Jan 3rd. I am not sure how you would count your calories. Glad to have you.0

Welcome also, to our group. So many people have had the Lap Band surgery in our group - some many years out. I'm sure they will discover your post and offer ideas and share what they have done. Sounds like your experience is like the 'double edged sword.' Keep checking back. Good luck.
