Bruises

Hi all! I just recently started working out with kettlebells and have some pretty nasty looking bruises on my arms from doing cleans. I'm pretty good about not letting the kb bang against my arm. Is this something where I'll eventually "toughen up" or is there something else I can do to prevent more bruising? Thanks!

If your form is good (you're moving the bell around your arm/hand and not over the top of it), you shouldn't be getting "nasty" bruises. I bruise very easily, so I do get some when I do cleans and snatches, but they're very light and only noticeable to me, really.
