So, I bit the bullet and joined a gym yesterday. It is an awesome gym with so much for my family to do. In fact, we were there today for 5.5 hours! I got evaluated by a personal trainer and am actually doing pretty well. My body fat % was 20.47 which is lower than I expected. My goal is to get to 18%. I have my first session with the trainer tomorrow afternoon. I haven't done 30DS this weekend but have done really well staying on target with my calories. I will find out what the personal trainer suggests as far as how many days to do the 30DS in addition to the weight lifting I want to do at the gym. There are also SO many great classes that I want to try out. I am so excited for this journey!

That's awesome especially that it has things for your whole family. It's a big help if they can come along so you don't feel you're taking time away from them. I'm struggling with that, trying to get wife and daughters to come to the gym and do stuff. It's hit and miss. Tomorrow evening, aquatic zumba for the first time with my 9 year old.

Keep it up and keep your family involved. It's an awesome step for sure.
