Soreness!!! Advice?

Hi Guys :-) Hows everyones journey going? Im going to be doing day three tonight when I get home.. The problem i had trying to do this for the full 30 days last time is the same thing im starting to run into again.. Im to dang sore!! After day one I was sore but it was a nice "yes i kicked butt" kind of sore than day two came and went and I felt like a train hit me! I could barely life my arms and my butt and legs where so on fire I could barely sit to use the restroom:blushing: lol So I took three days off and decided I would start up again today but not re start because I can still keep up with the level . What do you do to help out with soreness? I started stretching mega because she doesnt have you stretch very much and I try to eat alot of protien but any other advice is great!

I take a hot bath after the workout and soak for about 10 minutes. I will also ask my husband to massage my shoulders or back if sore. I've also used a heating pad and just bought some of those stick on heat strips in case ideally burn in level 3. They're in a red box and called therma something. When I first started, I also took a couple of Advil if I was really bad in the morning or at night. And, your body does need rest to heal. I follow Jillian's online program with 2 day shred, 1 day rest, 2 day shred, 1 day aerobic, 1 day rest. If you're getting that super sore,maybe you're pushing too hard? Might be good to check with your doc.0

While your sore, it may be best to start off with doing the shred every alternate day - once the pain goes away, which it should, try doing it every day or 5 times a week whatever you can handle.0

i was told by a body building friend that protien and water are a big help to repair muscles. within 30 mins of finishing a work out a protien shake will help, tho i am yet to test this theory because i have no clue what i am buying in the health food shop. I was shocked by the calorie content of these shakes. Id rather eat a bit of chicken of some tuna fish personally. Any feedback from sum1 "in the know" on these matters would be greatly appreciated as i am walking like i have sat on john waynes horse for a week nd am only on day 30

when i started doing the 30 DS months ago i had the same issue, this time i started doing a moderate 10-20 min Cardio dance DVD after doing the 30 DS. i find that it kept me from being too sore the next day. in a way it loosen up the muscles that Jillian just tortured.0
