Unintended Consequences (embarassing)

yesterday i did workout 1. this was my first time using a barbell.

afterwards, i had a hemorrhoid flare. bad.

come to find out heavy lifting causes hemorrhoids to swell. i am so bummed because i am pumped to do this program, but am seriously worried that its not going to be good for my...situation. as i am right now, i cant do squats (its not recommended during a flare), and i cant imagine sitting on my saddle for spin class. i cant imagine doing any sort of work out right now and its already been 24 hours.

has anyone else experienced this and had it get better as time went on? i am hoping my body will adjust and that i dont have to give this up. i feel like its the only way i'll ever get where i want to get.. :(:(:(:(
