Incline on treadmills

i was reading that if running on treadmills, it would be better to run on an incline of 1 or 2
any thoughts / suggestions..

I've heard the same thing, and use at least a 2% incline when using the treadmill. This has worked well for me. The theory is that this compensates for the lack of wind resistance which you would experience while running outdoors.0

Hmmmm. I haven't heard that but it sounds like it might kill me!! LOL I do walk at an incline as part of my cardio routine.0

When I was in a running club the running coach recommended we use an incline while on the treadmill. I have decided to not use an incline until later in the program. I don't want to damage my knee. I have recovered from a knee injury which occurred last year.0
