Week 5 Success

I just finished my Week 5. Before I started day 3, I had in my mind that before i was done I would have to lower my speed. But I just kept putting one foot ahead of the other, maintained my speed at 6.5 mph, and did it. What was amazing was that after the first 10 minutes I did not feel like I was fighting a battle and actually had enough to not only deep going the remaining 10 minutes, but stayed on the treadmill for another 40 minutes @ 3.5 mph. What this tells me is that I will be able to do my planned races this summer, if I continue running after the 9 week C25K is finished.

Now, on to Week 6!
