Hi Gang - Next week (week of 2/20) we are going to focus on helping people pack healthy snacks so they can eat every 3 hrs during the day. The biggest key to succes with this one will be preparing food in advance.
Please share any tips you have on
1) Healthy Snacks to eat at work
2) Preparing and packing them
Thanks so much

I think the biggest issue with bad snacking is that they are seen as the "easiest" or "quck" things to grab (Chips, candy, crackers). However, if you just do a little pre-planning, it can be just as easy to grab an apple, banana, baby pre-cut/peeled carrots, celery, yellow/orange/green bell peppers, & sugar snap peas. Just spend a little time on Sunday afternoon putting together little zip lock bag of the veggies you like, one for each day of the week. Then grab the baggie, an apple/orange/babana in the am before you leave. I find that when I get a sweet craving, I grab an apple instead of the candy.0
