I ordered this a couple of weeks ago but I haven't started it. I'm off work at the moment recovering from a hospital treatment (I had a large benign tumour embolised in my right kidney) it's still painful and I have problems stretching, yoga. I'm pretty sure I shouldn't start this next week but I'm wondering how intense the workout are and if I should wait till I'm fully mended or if I could start it in a few weeks when I'm hoping I can stretch without the kidney/chest pains?

It is pretty intense and I personally would not start it without consulting with your doctor.
  • agreed, it makes you sweat , and you will feel muscle fatigued the next day, watch it through and see what you think. But as above talk to your doc first

There are a bunch of jumping jacks. I've only done 2 days so far and one of my knees is really hurting today. If you are as eager as I am to get going, you could use the video as a guide. Do only what you are able to without over doing it. It sounds like to me that it is too soon to get started, but Jillian does give a specific move for people with a lower body injury (for cardio). I agree that you should ask your doctor after viewing the video!

    Thanks everyone!

I want to start it but at the moment I know just swinging my arms by my sides causes pain in my kidney. I just really want to get going on it, so frustrated!

I might as well watch it though, at least when I do start I know what I'm in for!
