So, would you guys classify "The River" as horror? So far, in my opinion, Its the scariest TV show on T.V. right now.
Well... I guess so is The Walking Dead, but that is a whole nother story

I would definitly classify it as horror, and it's close between The River and The Walking Dead id say they're 1a and 1b ya know haha I hope The River goes on for a logn time though it's hard to say if it will because whats considered awesome cable ratings is average to below average network ratings so hopefully it being on network tv wont hurt its chances of continuing on. I can't wait for Falling Skies to start up again this summer either!0

Falling skies? I havent heard about that one.
Whats cool about "The River" and what I think will help it is that it is a pretty short season, however I really want to see a season 2. Im definately picking up the season on DVD when it comes out. It reminds me of a cross between The Wild Thornberries and Supernatural, seeing as how every episode has a main plot, but different kinds of paranormal activity.0 -
Falling Skies is SICK, it's on TNT second season starts in the summer I think whole first season is on On Demand if you have Comcast/Xfinity it's about a group of surviviors in a post alien invasion/apocalypse america, it's like The Walking Dead but with aliens it's pretty sweeet!0

The River looks VERY good, I just don't have the ability to stick to any more weekly TV shows. I'll look into Falling Skies too.
I'm currently enjoying The Walking Dead, now that's it's ramped up a little!

Haha, yes! Horror sprinkles! Yeah, I can somewhat see why you say that about AHS. It has a few soap opera-y parts, and definitely lots of sexuality. Moira.... nuff said. Wowsers. But, overall, I think it's really well done for a television series. I definitely enjoy it. Pretty damn scary at times.0 -

For me the best "horror" parts of the show were when "the devil" got in the face of that girl going to buy crack, the piggy man episode and the very last scene with tates kid ont he rocking chair after he killed the nanny0 -
