Well, besides being a very tasty additive to just about everything, it can cause a multitude of health issues. By reading the book From the First Bite by Kay Sheppard, and by doing a little research (okay, a LOT of research) sugar is in pretty much every boxed food and canned food and is called by many names. I even found that a specific name brand aspirin for diabetics contains a hidden sugar! It is imperitive to find out all the names that sugar is called by and learn to avoid them. Ascefulmate K is one name. How many names can you find that are a hidden sugar and what foods have you found these hidden sugars in that surprises you?
