I would take points off for posting it as "Marci" Gras, but I know that was just the mint julep talking. They will kick you in the pants. I'm glad you had a good one. I ended up working in New Orleans til 10 am, getting stuck behind parade floats while trying to make my hour drive home after being up for 24 hours, napping, and then hanging on the couch in my jammies with a fussy boy child. I think the lack of crawfish and king cake in my day totally sucked. On the upside, at least I did get to see a tiny bit of Mardi Gras parade, even if it was sitting in traffic.0
